Gabe Ropi (he/him)
Gabriel Ropi is originally from Uruguay and has since experienced living all over the world! Gabe is a National Master Colorist for Alfapark Milano. He was personally trained by Nicolas French, who is Anne, Princess Royal of England’s hairstylist. He also trained under Oscar Bond and received a European cutting and coloring education. In Versailles Palace in Paris, he took a History of Hair in Fashion course, and was mentored by Peter Hammer, Domenico Dolce of Dolce & Gabbana’s personal assistant, which allowed Gabe to look at hair through a fashion eye.

Michael Schulz (He/Him)
Mike was born and raised in southern New Jersey and moved up north to pursue hair closer to NYC. He is a Textured Hair Specialist, Certified Colorist, Master Artisan of Alfaparf Milano, and a Makeup Artist. He has worked in LA and NY fashion week as a hairstylist and makeup artist and some of his favorite work was when he worked in editorials for models and designers. Mike worked in multidimensional color, highlighting, and fashion colors; and he specializes in precision haircuts. He studied under Nicholas French, Buckingham Palace’s hairstylist.

Alyssa Carriero (She/Her)
Alyssa is from Parsippany, New Jersey, and studied at Cutting Edge Academy. She has been a stylist for 4+ years and specializes in blowouts, styling, up-dos, makeup, and blonding. Alyssa prides herself on being adaptable, compassionate, a strong ally for the community, and a proud representative of the values of 46 West. Alyssa trains directly under Gabe and Michael and truly has become the perfect combination of two great artists. Her new skills alongside her own personal style have allowed her to pivot into her role as our Head Stylist.
